Russian Red – “Cigarettes”
I’m not quite sure how I came across this lady, but her music is so calming, eloquent and nostalgic. And like a Youtube comment notes, the moderator is totally falling in love with her! As I am too. Another song of hers “Fuerteventura” and coincidentally my favortie place in the world, is slightly more popular, but just as beautiful. Enjoy.

Of Monsters and Men – “Little Talks”
Who would have ever imagined people from Iceland make such great music? Though this is a relatively new band for the world, they seem like they’re gonna make it big time. Now I’m not sure what this song is about, but seems like boy loves girl, girl doesn’t love boy anymore. Sad position to be in, but with such innocent voices, song is great for any mood. And might I say, what a video! Amazeballs. Enjoy.

Lee Brice – “A Woman Like You”
Let’s be honest: I’m not like the majority of Americans that love country music. But this song is country-pop-ish. And I love it. Apparently, one of the writers was supposed to be out of the country that day, and miraculously, he was able to stay and make this world a better place. Just an interesting little fun fact to share. Seriously though, this is a song anyone in a relationship could relate to. What would you do if you had never met your significant other? Me? Personally, I have no idea. I’d like to think that I’d be having fun, traveling and living it up, but I’d rather do all of that with him. Enjoy.

Beirut – “Transatlantique”
Okay okay so it’s a bit mainstream and an oldie in the hipster community, but I’m a rookie at this. And Beuirut never disappoints. What a voice! I guess this song doesn’t have a music video, but “Elephant Gun,” also on that album, has one of the greatest videos of the year, according to some sources. So check it out. Enjoy.
